SMS & Communications Policy

1. Program Description

TerritoryOS operates an SMS messaging program to follow up with individuals who submit territory inquiries through our website. Messages may include information about territory availability, next steps in the onboarding process, and responses to your inquiry.

2. How You Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS messages by checking the consent box on our territory inquiry form. The consent language reads:

"By checking this box, I consent to receive follow-up communications from TerritoryOS regarding my inquiry, including SMS text messages, emails, and automated or AI-assisted voice or text outreach. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS."

Checking this box is voluntary. You are not required to consent to receive SMS messages in order to submit an inquiry or receive any service from TerritoryOS.

3. Automated and AI-Assisted Messaging

TerritoryOS may use automated dialing systems, pre-recorded messages, or AI-assisted tools to send text messages or initiate voice calls to the phone number you provide. This includes AI-generated text responses and AI-powered voice outreach.

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box, you expressly consent to be contacted by these methods. If you do not wish to be contacted via automated or AI-assisted systems, do not check the consent box and request email-only contact in your message.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 5 messages per inquiry thread depending on your response and inquiry status. We do not send unsolicited promotional SMS blasts.

5. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. TerritoryOS does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

6. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

8. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by all major US carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed for MVNO or regional carriers.

Your phone number and contact information are used solely to follow up on your inquiry and are never sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
